Shakib’s ‘Priyatama’ to be released in Eid-ul-Adha

Dhallywood actor Shakib Khan is getting ready to surprise the audiences with another anticipated production, titled “Pri-yatama” for the Eid-ul-Adha after dazzling fans with his stellar performance in “Leader: Ami Bangladesh” this Eid-ul-Fitr.

Arshad Adnan, the only child of the new President Md Shahabuddin Ahmed, the founder of ‘Versatile Media’, comes with new work. On April 24, his father Md. Shahabuddin took oath as the new president. And the day after that, Arshad Adnan announced that he will produce the movie ‘Priyatama’ from his production house ‘Versatile Media’. The movie will be pro-duced by Himel Ashraf.

In ‘Priyatama’, Shakib Khan will play the role of Sumon in it. Sumon goes to Cox’s Bazar from Dhaka to unravel the mystery of his brother’s murder. This story is written by Farooq Hossain, while its screenplay is written by Himel Ashraf and Farooq Hossain.

The director said that the shooting of the movie will start in Dhaka on May 8. Later, shooting will be done in Sunamganj, Sylhet, Cox’s Bazar, and Bandarbans for several days from May 10. The film is set to be released in multiple nations includ-ing America, Canada, Dubai, and Qatar, amongst others.

Arshad Adnan said about the production of the ‘Priyatama’ movie, “I have produced more than two hundred dramas includ-ing ‘U-turn’, ‘Sultana Bibiana’. Whatever I did, I tried to do it with full concentration and give my best. I kept myself away from producing for several years. Now I am back to work again. Undoubtedly, Shakib Khan is the number one superstar of Bangladeshi cinema. I had a plan to work with him long ago, this is the beginning of a new journey. I have faith in Himel. Hopefully, Himel will make the movie better than before”.

Meanwhile, Shakib Khan starrer ‘Leader Ami Bangladesh’ is the most commercially successful movie of this Eid.
