Actress and presenter Srabonno is set to star in the Eid drama ‘Tumi Amar Sob’, alongside Arosh Khan.
Directed by popular director Mabrur Rashid Bannah, the drama is set to air on RTV today on the 6th day of Eid at 4 pm.
The play revolves around the story of two cousins, with the girl waiting for the right moment to express her long-unexpressed passion and love for the other. However, the boy rejects her immediately, but slowly starts to see the girl dif-ferently. In the end, the boy is forced to confront his own feelings as well.
Srabonno’s role in the drama has also provided a unique experience for her, as she plays a character that is opposite to her personality in real life. “All my life, boys have always followed me in college or university, I didn’t care. For this drama, I must be a little silly in love with the boy. That was very interesting for me,” says Srabonno, who was impressed with Ban-nah’s direction technique and is excited to work with him for the first time.
The shooting took place at the Jamindar house in Manikganj. Despite the intense heat and humidity during filming, Srabon-no worked hard and pushed through to complete the shoot. The actress had to endure wet and sweaty clothes and dry them repeatedly before continuing to shoot.
In addition to her role in the drama, Srabonno will also appear in several other Eid programs, including Channel 24’s ‘Shine with Srabonno’, RTV’s ‘Colors of Music’, and Channel Nine’s ‘Nine Kitchen’. Also, she is emceeing the ongoing IPL cricket tournament on GTV.
