‘Gangubai’ and ‘Badhaai Do’ triumph the show

The 68th annual Filmfare Awards, the ceremony concluded in grand fashion in Mumbai on Thursday night, and winners proudly posed with the black lady (the trophy) in their hands.

The Jio World Conventional Centre in Mumbai hosted the 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2023 in collaboration with Maha-rashtra Tourism.

According to Indian Times, hosting the awards for the first time, Salman Khan amplified the evening’s significance. His act was aptly supported by Ayushmann Khurrana and Maniesh Paul.

Alia Bhatt and Rajkummar Rao won big at the Filmfare Awards. Alia won the Best Actor award for her film Gangubai Kathi-awadi, which also won the Best Film, Best Director at the event. Rajkummar won the Best Actor award for Badhaai Do, which also starred Bhumi Pednekar. She shared the Best Actress (Critics’) award for the film.

The starry night started off with Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Rekha, Janhvi Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Vicky Kaushal and several oth-ers walking the red carpet in style. Last night was just another example of Filmfare’s credibility and success in the Indian film industry.

The best in cinema were honoured at the awards night with the prestigious black lady.
