Topu Khan directed film ‘Leader Ami Bangladesh’ starring superstar Shakib Khan is running in 102 cinema halls of the country. Apart from the single screen, the film was also house full at Star Cineplex on the eighth day of its release.

Actress Prarthana Fardin Dighi who won the National Film Award three times as a child artist said that she got the tickets with great difficulty to see ‘Leader Ami Bangladesh’, which is the most popular film among the eight released last Eid.

Dighi watched ‘Leader Ami Bangladesh’ on Saturday at 7:20 pm show at Star Cineplex in Bashundhara City. After watching the film, this actress said that she bought the last two tickets online. “If I was two minutes late, I wouldn’t have got the tickets. I started watching Eid movies through it. I watched the evening show with my uncle. My father also acted in the movie. I enjoyed watching the film very much.”

Referring to the ‘memories’ of having Shakib Khan, Misha Sawdagar, and her father Subrata together in a movie, Dighi said, “Sitting in the cinema hall and watching them together, I got back the mood of my childhood. I did movies with them as a child.”

Before the release, the teaser of ‘Leader Ami Bangladesh’, ‘Kotha Ache’, and ‘Surma Surma’ songs attracted Dighi the most. Dighi said, “After seeing those, my expectation grew. Besides, my father used to tell the story of the movie after shooting.”

“When the song ‘Kotha Ache’ was released, I was just giddy. I like it so much that I made a video with this song. Imran-Konal’s songs in the film, Shakib Khan’s clash with Misha Sawdagor on screen, everything impressed me”, she added.

Dighi acted in some mostly anticipated films like ‘Chachchu’, ‘Dadi Ma’, and ‘Ek Takar Bou’ with Shakib Khan as a child. Due to those films, Dighi became a star in childhood.

Dighi further said, “Even after so many years, he (Shakib Khan) is giving us so many great films, his contribution to the industry cannot be overstated. I am waiting for his new movie next Eid.”
