Shobnom Bubly’s career in Bangladesh’s film industry as a heroine is not a long one. She made her acting debut with two movies — “‘Bossgiri” and “Shooter” — that were released during Eid-ul-Azha in 2016.
Since then, she has charmed and impressed the audience with her performance in multiple movies, including “Bir”, “Captain Khan,” “Rangbaz,” “Birodhi,” “Ohongkar,” “Super Hero,” “Chokh,” etc.
During the Eid-ul-Fitr last month, two new movies starring Bubly were released. She shared the screen with Shakib Khan in “Leader: Amii Bangladesh,” which was directed by Topu Khan and with Ador Azad in “Local,” which was directed by Saif Chandan.
The movies have received some critical acclaim and much love from the general audience. Bubly’s performances in both films have stunned the audience.
Both movies are still going strong in different cinema halls in Dhaka and elsewhere across the country since Eid. In some places, the audience size is still increasing for “Leader” and “Local.”
Talking about the success of her movies and the love of the audience, Bubly said, “Honestly, I’m very lucky and grateful to the audience for the love they have given me since the beginning.”
“I really appreciate them. Because of the audience, I am who I am now. And the person I am always grateful to is the man we all love — Shakib Khan. I came to the cinema because of him and I have come this far with his help,” she said.
“Since my first film, I have put worked very hard to get better as an actor. I want to work on more films with good stories in the future. I hope everyone will be with me along the way,” Bubly hoped.
