Padatik to stage ‘Pake Bikpake’ today

Theatre troupe Padatik Natya Sangsad is going to stage its 43th production ‘Pake Bikpake’ today at the Experimental Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 7:00pm.

Written by Manoj Mitra, the play has been directed by Sanjeev Kumar Dey. The play is a story of the suffering and sorrows of the poor, living in a village.

In the play, a poisonous snake bites Janardhan at night and he started to scream and run along with a lantern where he finds a man sitting with a basket.

Although the man saw him in pain and asked him for help, the man kept ignoring and gestures for Janardhan to leave.

Later, Janardhan finds out the man Nobokrishno who is planning to loot crops from his own by evading the guards.

Thus, the story of the play goes on. The play casts Shakhawat Hossain Shimul, Imran Khan, Ekhlasur Prant, Jinat Islam, and others.
