‘Pathaan’ to hit 41 cinema halls in Bangladesh today

The highly anticipated Bollywood film ‘Pathaan’, starring the iconic Shah Rukh Khan, is all set to make its grand release in 41 cinema halls across Bangladesh today.

This much-anticipated release marks a significant milestone as Bangladeshi cinema hall owners fulfil their long-standing desire to showcase Hindi films to local audiences.

Action-Cut Entertainment, the importer and distributor of ‘Pathaan’, has prepared for the film’s release.

Anonno Mamun, the owner of Action-Cut Entertainment, stated, “We are thrilled to announce that ‘Pathaan’ will be screened in 41 cinema halls throughout the country, presenting a remarkable total of 198 shows daily. The response from the audience has been overwhelming, with tickets for the first and second days almost entirely sold out.”

In an effort to ensure a seamless cinema experience, Action-Cut Entertainment has taken charge of the film’s distribution, releasing it through its own server. Utilising e-tickets and the latest box office systems, they aim to monitor real-time earnings and analyse audience reception.

Mamun said, “The early signs are incredibly promising, as the film’s pre-ticket sales have been remarkable. We hope this positive momentum continues and generates a resounding success for ‘Pathaan.’”

The film will be released at all Star Cineplexes in Dhaka. Besides, it will have screenings at Modhumita cinema hall, Shymoly Cineplex, Blockbuster Cinemas, and Chintramahal Cinema Hall in Dhaka. In Keraniganj the film will be screened at Lion Cinemas, Magic Movie theatre at Diyabari, Chandrima and Sena Auditorium in Savar, Madhuban Cineplex in Bogura, Movie Theatre Grand and Nandita Hall in Sylhet, Bali Arcade cineplex, Sugandha and Silver Screen in Chattogram, High Tech Park cineplex and Raj Tilak in Rajshahi, Chhayabani in Mymensingh, Shapla cinema hall in Rangpur, Darshan in Bhairab, New Metro in Narayanganj, Raj cinema hall in Kuliarchar, Modern in Dinajpur, Tamanna hall in Saidpur, Nabin in Manikganj, Purbasha in Santahar, Liberty and Shankha cinema in Khulna, Monihar in Jassore, Ulka in Gazipur, Rupkatha in Pabna, Roots Cineclub in Shirajganj, Sopnil Cineplex in Kustia, Madhobi in Madhupur, Razia in Nagarpur and Momo Inn in Bogra.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Pathaan’ is an action-packed blockbuster that features not only the illustrious Shah Rukh Khan but also acclaimed actors Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in prominent roles. Having already made waves worldwide since its initial premiere on January 25 this year, the film’s release in Bangladesh is expected to amplify the excitement further.
