It’s Mother’s Day today in the world. In Bangladesh, as in other countries, this day is observed with devotion every year. Some of the stars of the country’s showbiz arena expressed their love for their mothers on this day.
“As I’m the first child of my parents, I grew up with a lot of love and affection. I think my mother loved me a little much. She never let me hide from her eyes. When I joined the media, my late father as well as my mother encouraged me every moment. I want to be with my mother all my life in the magic of love. But my mother is not in the country for a long time. Even so, I pray that the mother stays well wherever she is.”
“Whether in my personal life or in my acting career, I have taken her inspiration or guidance very seriously. My life is complete today because I obeyed my mother’s guidelines. I remember, almost ten years ago in 2014, when the ‘Garbini Ma’ Award was launched, my mother was the first recipient of this award from the film industry. For this, I’m grateful to Dr Ashis Kumar Chakraborty. My mother is still doing well. Everyone, please pray for my mother. I wish for all the mothers of the world to stay well.”
“I am today’s Purnima because I was born from my mother’s womb. I give all my respect, love and gratitude to my mother and pray to Almighty Allah to always keep my mother well. I’m a mother myself. So, now I can understand the mother’s pain very well. There is no comparison to a mother. I caused a lot of pain to my mother without knowing it and i don’t want to hurt her ever again. Last year, my mother was awarded ‘Garbini Ma’ in recognition of my work. That was the best gift from me to my mother. Everyone, please pray for my mother.”
“I’m established today because my mother always did her duty towards me. The most interesting thing is that for me, my mother was awarded the ‘Garbini Ma’ award in 2017. The happiness I felt in my mother’s achievement gave me peace. It is the duty of every child to fulfil his responsibility towards his mother. My mother is very lonely now after losing my father. I try to give more time to Mom now than before. Respect and love to all mothers on World Mother’s Day.”
“Today, I’m successful because of my mother. I can’t imagine my life without her. If my father went elsewhere for his work, it can be adapted. Everything seems to be haphazard if my mother is not there. For instance, if my mother is not there at the time of my shooting, I will call her again and again to know unnecessary things. I always feel safe when my mother is by my side. In fact, since birth, I depend so much on my mother. Everyone pray for my mother and father. And respect and love to all the mothers on Mother’s Day.”
“As I’m the youngest among three sisters, my mother used to call me Mohammad as a child. She dressed me up in boys’ clothes. But when I got a little older I learned that Mohammad was a boy’s name, and I felt very ashamed. I thought why am I being called by a boy’s name! Later, mother started calling me Bhuban. Since then, my mother still calls me by this name.
My mother’s contribution is the most behind my today’s achievements. May all the mothers of the world
stay well.”
“The role of mother in my life cannot be explained. My mother used to act, dance and sing. After my brother and I were born, my mother couldn’t keep up with those things. So, mother sowed that dream into me and my brother. I learned dancing from childhood so that I could be an actress when I grow up. I have reached here today with the inspiration and support of my mother. She is also very responsible towards my son. My mother has been able to fulfil her dream through me that is her satisfaction. Everyone, please pray for my mother.”
“The biggest contribution behind my becoming a singer is my mother. For me, my mother had given up all her pleasures and wandering. She brought me to my today’s position. I am trying to maintain that position so that my mom and dad can proudly say that they are Kona’s parents. In fact, I could not give anything else to my father and mother except this. I will always keep them in my heart. I just pray that Allah keeps them well. Everyone, please pray for my mother.”
“Everything I have done well in my life could be possible for my parents. And all the bad things I have done are my responsibility. My mother is the best teacher in my life. She is my role model. My mother is a professor. I would not have believed that a woman can be so hard-working if I haven’t seen my mother. I don’t have much maybe, but I have an educated mother and an educated family. So if I am born again I want to be born in this family. My sincere respect and love to all the mothers of the world on Mother’s Day.”
“I just can’t tell my mother how much I love her. When I was in class VIII, I used to buy imitation jewellery for my mother with the money I earned through private tuition. I still remember the overjoyed look on her face when she got it. A few years ago my mother was given the ‘Garbini Ma’ award in recognition of my work success. It was much more satisfying for me. I’m indeed the person today all because of my mother’s sacrifice and encouragement.”
