Suchandra passed away in bike accident

Kolkata based TV artist Suchandra Dasgupta passed away on the night of May 20 in a tragic bike accident. According to Times of India, the accident took place when she was returning from shooting on Saturday.

According to police, the actress booked an app-based bike ride to return home. Near Ghosh Para, under Baranagar Police station, when a cyclist suddenly came in front of them, Suchandra fell at a foot of distance because of the sudden thrust. A passing lorry ran over her.

Dasgupta garnered significant popularity for her remarkable performance in the widely acclaimed TV serial Gouri Elo (There Comes, Gouri).
