In a touching incident that spread like wildfire across social media platforms, 64-year-old Shivani Chakraborty, a cancer patient from Khardah, expressed her final wish to meet her favorite Bollywood superstar, Shahrukh Khan. Shivani’s daughter, Priya, took to social media to share her mother’s heartfelt desire, which quickly went viral.
Shivani, a devoted Shahrukh Khan fan, yearned to cook and personally feed the actor. The news eventually reached the doors of Mannat, Shahrukh Khan’s residence in Mumbai. Known for his unwavering dedication to his fans, the King of Bollywood did not disappoint. He personally called Shivani Chakraborty, engaging in a heartfelt conversation that lasted approximately 40 minutes. During the call, he reassured the mother and daughter that he would stand by their side, promising to visit Kolkata soon to fulfill Shivani’s wish.
According to India Today, pictures of Shahrukh Khan adorned the walls of Shivani’s house, displaying her admiration for the superstar. Collecting posters of his films since the year 2000, Shivani’s devotion to Shahrukh remained unwavering, even amidst her battle with an incurable illness. Despite her condition, she made it a point to watch Shahrukh’s recent film, ‘Pathan,’ showcasing her unparalleled fandom. Finally, her dream came true as she had the opportunity to interact with her beloved star through a video call. Shivani and Priya were initially overwhelmed with disbelief and joy, with Priya unable to contain her excitement upon receiving the call.
Recalling the conversation, Priya shared, “SRK promised to pray for my mother’s speedy recovery. He even recited a special prayer (dua) for her well-being.” In an endearing gesture, Khan expressed his willingness to savor a home-cooked meal prepared by Shivani, with the only condition being that the fish served had no bones. This further elevated Shivani’s happiness, as she eagerly awaits Shahrukh’s visit to her humble abode in Kolkata for a simple homemade feast.
