Sarika’s daughter Sahrish debuts as child artiste

Prominent model and actress Sarika Sabrin’s daughter, Sahrish Anayah Karim, is set to make her acting debut in the play ‘Hello Teacher’. Written by Mujibul Haque and directed by BU Shuvo, the play features Sahrish in the role of Sarika’s student and Ziaul Faruq Apurba’s niece.

Filming for the play has been successfully completed at various locations in Uttara, Dhaka. However, the exact airing details and channel are yet to be confirmed by the director.

Sarika, who is thrilled to share the screen with her daughter for the first time, expressed her excitement about the experience. She said, “On May 24, my daughter Sahrish acted for the first time, making that day extra special for me. Sahrish has always been interested in acting, and I am delighted that she has found this opportunity. It’s particularly heartening to work alongside my good friend Apurba in this drama. Shuvo is also a good friend of mine. Given the comfortable environment and the presence of Apurba, I felt confident in allowing Sahrish to act in this play.”

Sarika further praised her daughter’s talent, stating, “During the first scene, we were all amazed by Sahrish’s exceptional acting skills. Her performance has left us all impressed. In the play, Sahrish portrays the role of my student. Now, I eagerly await the drama’s airing, filled with anticipation.”

Last year, Sarika and Apurba collaborated on the dramas ‘Escape Marriage’ and ‘Hello Madam’ both directed by B U Shuvo.
