The movie ‘Sultanpur’ is based on the exciting story of the border. Meanwhile, the movie’s trailer and two songs ‘Jaan Re’ and ‘Boka Mon’ have received a good response.

Director Saikat Nasir said, “The story itself is the real hero of this movie. It revolves around the lives of people living on the border. Although it’s a commercial film, the story is incredibly compelling. It carries a strong message about the abuse of power when people take advantage of the respect given to them. Essentially, the movie’s storyline revolves around this concept. What makes it even more relatable is that 99% of the villagers can see themselves reflected in this story.”

Adhara Khan will be seen as the female lead in the film. She said, “I’m excited to share that my new film, ‘Sultanpur’, is finally releasing after a significant delay caused by various reasons, including the impact of Covid. It was a collective effort from all the artists involved, as we poured our heart and soul into the project. Furthermore, the character I portray in the film is unlike any I have done before, adding an element of intrigue and mystery for the viewers to explore.”

Sanju John, the hero of this movie said, “Hats off to the team of ‘Sultanpur’. Every member of this movie is very important. It is a team effort. We have arranged the story very nicely. I hope for the sake of Bengali cinema, you will all go to the hall and watch this movie.”
