Nusrat Jannat Roohi, who is a dancer, choreographer, actress, and presenter, has started working on three new drama serials. The three dramas are Kaiser Ahmed’s ‘Bakulpur Season 2’ and ‘Swapner Rani’ and Juboraj Khan’s ‘Phul Bahar’. She is playing an important role in all three serial dramas.

Kaiser Ahmed’s ‘Bakulpur Season 2’ and ‘Swapner Rani’ is being aired on Deepto TV, while Juboraj Khan’s ‘Phul Bahar’ is waiting to see its release.

Roohi said that she has already done shooting of the drama ‘Phul Bahar’ for a few days. She will go to the Sunamganj soon for the need of the story. This series will be shot there. However, Roohi has a long desire to act in a movie. But despite working in the media for a long time, she is not able to act in movies. She is supposed to act in a web series. She will make an announcement when everything will be finalized. Roohi’s first play was ‘Akash Badal’ directed by Nazmul Roni. Here her co-star was Afran Nisho and Nazia Haque Arsha.

On acting and dancing Roohi said, “I am a dancer at heart. I have been dancing since my childhood. And many dance artists later became recognized in acting as well. I am also trying to act. Sometimes I act when I get a good story and character. Among them, I am acting in three new serials because I like the characters. I am also taking regular dance classes. I am trying to make myself more proficient in acting and dancing.”

Roohi has been working as a classical dance teacher at BAFA for 17 years. She modeled for the first time in a music video for a song by Milan. She has worked as a model in the advertisement of several other products including RFL, and Pepsi. However, Roohi wants to get married soon if she finds the man of her heart.

Roohi said that she has been hosting BTV’s magazine show ‘Gaan Chirodin’ for the past one and a half years. She is enjoying the anchoring too.
