Chanchal to cover “Achen Amar Muktar”

Chanchal Chowdhury, the celebrated Bangladeshi actor and singer, has enthralled audiences with his exceptional acting skills and melodious voice.

Known for his popular songs like “Sharbata Mangal Radhe,” “Nisha Lagilo Re,” and “Dhaka Shohor Aisha Amar,” Chanchal continues to display his versatile talents, making a lasting impact on the entertainment industry.

After the successful release of the beloved song “Dhaka Shohor Aisha Amar” in collaboration with Meher Afroz Shaon on the eve of Eid, Chanchal is now ready to mesmerise listeners once again with his upcoming song “Achen Amar Muktar” in collaboration with Mejbah.

This remarkable track is part of the prestigious project “IPDC Our Song Tribute to Gazi Mazharul Anwar” and has been freshly composed by the talented Emon Shaha.

“Achen Amar Muktar” holds a significant place in the history of Bangladeshi cinema. Originally penned by the esteemed lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar, the song was featured in the 1978 film “Golapi Ekhon Traine” directed by the visionary Amjad Hossain. The captivating composition and music were skillfully crafted by Alauddin Ali, while the soulful rendition was brought to life by the legendary Syed Abdul Hadi. The movie starred the iconic duo Anwar Hossain and Shabnam in the lead roles.

This timeless classic earned Alauddin Ali his first National Award for his exceptional music score and composition, while Syed Abdul Hadi received his maiden National Award for his unforgettable performance in the song.
