Anima Roy releases song for Christmas and New Year

On the occasion of Christmas and the English New Year, the song ‘Tumi Robe Nirobe’ has been released in the voice of renowned Rabindra Sangeet singer Anima Roy. The song is now available to stream on its official YouTube channel of the singer.

Prattyush Bandyopadhyay composed the music for the new cover of Rabindranath›s popular song.

“Although I’ve sung many songs of Rabindranath Tagore, for this particular song, I haven’t had it recorded separately before. However, in most of my live performances, I’ve received requests from the audience to sing this song. The song is a nice, soothing, and romantic song. So for Christmas and the New Year, I decided to release the song. As an artist, I want to present good songs to the audience. In these turbulent times, I believe any song of Rabindranath carries a message of peace. I hope the audience will listen to the song and like it,” said Anima Roy.

The song is produced by Kolahal Communication. The video of the song was shot at the Zamindar Bari in Manikganj. The music video of the song was directed by Yamin Elan.
