Apu Biswas casts Symon in ‘Laal Sari’

Popular Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas has cast Symon Sadik in the lead role of the government-granted film ‘Laal Sari.’ Apu confirmed the news to the press yesterday. This will be her debut as a film producer.

“When the story of the film was submitted to the committee which gives the grant, the makers asked for my national identification card. After the film got government funding the makers finally confirmed me for the role and I’m feeling good about it. Apart from that the story itself is amazing and the most important fact about the film is, that it is based on the people who are associated with handlooms. I’m very hopeful about the film,” said Symon.

‘Laal Sari’ will be produced under the banner of the Apu-Joy Production house. The screenplay of the film was written by Tanvir Ahmed Sydney.

The shooting of the film is set to start from November 1 and Apu Biswas will be seen in an important role alongside Symon.

Moreover, the actor joined the shooting of ‘Chador’ today. Popular Dhallywood director Zakir Hossain Raju is directing the film, which is being produced by BFDC. The film casts Sabnom Bubli oposite of Symon.

Symon starrer psycho-thriller film ‘Live’ directed by Shamim Ahamed Roni released on Friday. The film also casts Mahiya Mahi and is getting a positive response from the audience.
