Makers of ‘Khufiya’ directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, are now gearing up to complete the remaining portion of shooting for this production. The shooting is expected to commence from the last week of this month, or early September.

‘Rehana Maryam Noor’ famed Azmeri Haque Badhan will be making her debut in Bollywood with this film. She will play the role of a Bangladeshi woman in ‘Khufiya’.

“The role I played in the film doesn’t have a long screen time but I enjoyed a lot playing the role. For me, working with Vishal Bharadwaj was a big opportunity,” said Badhan.

The actress currently is not taking any new projects until the work of ‘Khufiya’ ends. She started shooting for the film last October in Delhi.

The film is inspired by true events and based on the popular espionage novel Escape to Nowhere by Amar Bhushan.

The film features noted Bollywood stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, and Ashish Vidyarthi, among others.

Tabu, who was recently seen in the hit horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, said Khufiya has Bhardwaj’s signature touch.

The film is expected to release end of this year on the OTT platform Netflix.
