Bari Siddiqui to be remembered today

On the occasion of the 68th birth anniversary of the eminent late musician, Bari Siddiqui, Bari Siddiqui Smriti Parishad has organised a commemorative programme featuring discussion, cultural programme and award-giving ceremony. The event will be held today at 5 pm at the auditorium of the Kendriyo Kochi Kachar Mela, segun Bagicha in the capital.

Eminent industrialist and music lover Feroz Haider Khan, Managing Director of Feroze Group will be present as the chief guest at the event. Lyricist Delowar Arjuda Sharaf, Md Salim Reza, Md. Zafar Ali Khan, Mir Gholam Farooq, AR Khan Akhir, Hossain Runu, singer and actor Rashed Morshed, Shah Nawaz Khan, Abul Hossain Mazumder, Tashiq Ahmed, Sheikh Ali Ashraf Farooq and others will be present as special guests.

Actor DA Tayeb, also the chief advisor of Bari Siddiqui Smriti Parishad will preside over the programme, while Shihab Rifat Alam will inaugurate the event.

Popular artists Ashraf Udas, Baul Shafi Mondal, Shahnaz Beli, Fakir Shahabuddin, Alam Ara Minu, Ruxi Ahmed, Nasreen Akhtar Beauty, Tajul Islam, Gamcha Palash, Close Up-1 star Sultana Yasmin Laila, Ayesha Zebeen Deepa, Prathik Haasan, Nolak Babu, Bindu Kana, Kamruzzaman Rabbi, Sagar Baul, Tamanna Haque, Chaiti Khan, MM Shafi, Jewel Sarkar, Prince Alamgir, and others will perform music at the event.
