The full-length feature film ‘Chiranjib Mujib’, based on the autobiography ‘Asamapta Atmajibani (The Unfinished Memoirs)’ of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be releasing in theatres today.
The film has highlighted the political life of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from 1949 to 1951. The story of how Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has gradually become a leader of the country and has played a strong role in the Language Movement will be shown in the film.
Ahmed Rubel has played the role of Bangabandhu in the film while Purnima has played the role of Begum Fazilatunnesa Renu. Khairul Alam Sabuj and Dilara Zaman have portrayed the roles of Bangabandhu’s father and mother respectively.
The film is dedicated to Bangabandhu’s daughters Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana, will be released under the banner of Haider Enterprise.
The film also stars SM Mohsin (late), Azad Abul Kalam, Shatabdi Wadud, Somu Chowdhury, Arman Parvez Murad, Shahjahan Samrat, Selim Ahmed (late) and Jewel Mahmud, among others.
