‘Glory of Women’ exhibition underway at Abinta Gallery

A solo sculpture exhibition by Sigma Haque Angkan titled ‘Glory of Women’ is currently underway at Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts in the capital.

Sultan M Mineuddin curated the exhibition that began on February 25.

According to the curator, the exhibition is an attempt to share the story of a lone female sculptor of Bangladesh who has marked her brilliance begins a sculptor in one of the most sensitive aspects of human life which is the life of a woman.

Womanhood is one of the inherent aspects of a society that comes out of the focus where the societal struggle of men is valued in every corner. Ankan’s sculptures revealed the subject of this true and tough reality that womanhood goes through. The exhibition will continue every day until March 10.
