I had to put my all in this song: Oyshee

Singer Fatima Tuz Zahra Oyshee’s upcoming song ‘Dushtoo Polapain’ has started creating waves with a stunning teaser from the music video featuring Bollywood sensation Sunny Leone.

The upbeat track has its lyrics, music and composition done by Kaushik Hossain Taposh while the music video is choreographed by Bollywood’s celebrated choreographer Adil Shaikh.

The music video is produced and styled by TM Records Chairperson Farzana Munny.

Talking about her experience of working on this new song, Oyshee told The Business Post, “I have tried to pour all my emotions in this song. I had to keep in mind several things while working on this song. It is an item song and I had to consider this fact. In my own style of singing, with a rockish feel, I have also tried to put the conventional feel of songs in this sub-continent. I just tried to blend these”.

Regarding the casting of Sunny Leone in the stunning music video, the singer said, “I didn’t know of her appearance in this song earlier. The day the video was shot, I was surprised to see a clip of it. Oh my God! Sunny Leone! It was really a surprise for me. I wasn’t told about such a video from earlier to surprise me. Definitely, it’s a huge gift for me.”

Oyshee shared that she puts her heart into this upcoming number. It needed her all efforts. “Every new song has something to learn from. Definitely, I learnt a lot while working on ‘Dushtoo Polapain’. I had to put my all into this song. The day I took part in the recording, I have tried to enter into the mode of the lyrics,” she said adding “I think every song has its own characteristics. Each of my new songs is like an opportunity for me to explore myself in a very new way.”

The teaser of the upcoming song ‘Dushtoo Polapain’ is available on the YouTube channel of TM Records. The release date of the music video is yet to be announced.

“I am getting a very good response after the promo is released and waiting for the full music video,” said Oyshee.

However, ‘Dushtoo Polapain’ is one of the very first songs on way coming from the newly launched record label TM Records.

Initiated by Farzana Munny, chairperson of Gaan Bangla TV and her husband, musician Kaushik Hossain Taposh, also managing director of the TV channel, TM Records was launched at a grand ceremony held at the SKS Tower branch of Star Cineplex in the capital’s Mohakhali earlier this month.
