Mahiya Mahi’s Facebook profile hacked

Popular Dhallywood film actress Mahiya Sharmin Akter Nipa, commonly known by her stage name Mahiya Mahi, recently made headlines by declaring her pregnancy. Currently, she is four months pregnant. On Sunday evening, the Dhallywood starlet’s personal Facebook profile got hacked and some confusing statuses posted by the hacker went viral. The actress was able to recover the Facebook profile after a few hours.

A status that read “We are not together anymore” was posted from her hacked Facebook profile at 9pm on Sunday. The status instantly went viral as fans started to speculate that she is splitting with her current husband Gazipur businessman and politician Rakib Sarker.

Several media outlets tried to confirm the news from her but she was unreachable on her phone that evening. After half an hour she removed the status and contacted the journalists to confirm that her personal profile was hacked and the viral status was posted by the hacker. Some messages were also sent from her profile. By that time several news outlets posted the story.

Mahi told the press that she suspects her previous social media manager was behind this as they could not reach him after the incident. She also said her previous social media manager had access to both her personal profile and verified page apart from her.
