Mondira starrer ‘Kajal Rekha’ to be released on Eid

Popular actress, model, and dancer Mondira Chakroborty starrer film ‘Kajol Rekha’ will be released this upcoming Eid, Mondira herself confirmed it to the media. Directed by Giasuddin Selim, the film was supposed to be released this upcoming Valentine’s Day.

Regarding acting in the film, Mondira Chakroborty said, “I have been waiting patiently for the film to release. This reminds me of Selim bhai’s film ‘Monpura’ which also took time to release. At that time actress Farhana Mili apu had a similar experience to me. Honestly, I can’t wait to see myself on screen. Many have asked me about the release date of ‘Kajal Rekha’, and I answered; it will come out this coming Eid. I have worked hard to portray the role of Kajal Rekha in this film. Selim bhai along with his team supported me throughout the project and all of my co-stars in the film have inspired me and were by my side whenever I needed them. I am very optimistic about the film”.

Mondira will not involve her with any work before the release of ‘Kajal Rekha’. She will start to take on new projects after the film releases. When Mondira was three years old she started to take dancing lessons. Afterward, she started taking lessons in Dhaka for 3 years.

She came into the media industry in 2012 and debuted in the drama titled ‘Protijogeeta’ directed by Wahid Anam. She came into the limelight after she modeled in a song titled ‘Kolongko’ directed by Mahin Awlad and voiced by Kazi Shuvo.
