Former BCB President passes away

Former Bangladesh Cricket Board President Commodore Mujibur Rahman breathed his last on July 28 in Canada of age-related problems.

Commodore Mujib served as the BCB President from September 28, 1981 to January 30, 1983. He was also the team manager of the Bangladesh team when they went to play their first-ever ICC trophy in 1979.

BCB expressed their deep bereavements on his passing away. As a mark of respect to their former President, the BCB flag will fly at half-mast on Thursday, July 29, 2021.
