Bangladesh Under-19 team will play five one-day matches and one four-day match against Afghanistan U-19 team in September at Sylhet, confirmed the Game Development Manager of Bangladesh Cricket Board AEM Kawser.
Kawser told The Business Post that the team will start the camp in Sylhet from August 16.
“From August 16 we will start the camp in Sylhet. Initially there will be 23 or 24 players in the camp as we are still in doubt about one injured cricketer. Our head coach Naveed Nawaz will be conducting the training sessions. We are expecting trainer Richard Stonier but there are some travel restrictions so let’s see. But we have our local coaches (Mehrab Hossain and Talha Jubaer as batting and bowling coach respectively),” he told TBP.
The Game Development manager also informed TBP that the Afghan team will come to Bangladesh on August 31. The matches will take place between September 5 and September 20 at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
