Former South Africa captain Ashwell Prince who was roped in as the batting coach for Bangladesh national team is expected to arrive on August 20th, said the chief selector Minhazul Abedin.
Prince was initially appointed for only the Zimbabwe series and later he was expected to travel to Bangladesh along with the team from Zimbabwe but he refused to come as his terms and conditions did not match with BCB.
Therefore, the Tigers were without any batting coach during the twenty20 series against Australia.
But now both the parties have agreed and Prince is expected to arrive in Dhaka ahead of the five-match T20 series against New Zealand. “He is expected to arrive in Dhaka on August 20. He will follow three-day quarantine upon his arrival. Later he will enter in the bio bubble security. Our team is set to start training on August 27”, Minhazul told the media. –TBP
