HP training camp starts from August 19

Bangladesh Cricket Board’s High Performance Squad’s Training Camp 2021 will start at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram from August 19, said a media release from the BCB.

The foreign coaches of HP unit, Toby Radford and Champaka Ramanayeke will conduct the training camp along with local coaching staff members which will run for seven days.

After the training session, the HP team will play three One-Day matches against Bangladesh `A’ team comprised of 18 cricketers including the national team’s red-ball contracted cricketers.

Following the One-Day series, both the teams will take part in two four-day matches at the same venue. After the matches, the camp will run for two more weeks where the players will sharpen their skills and fitness. The camp will end on October 8.

Batsmen: Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Mohammad Parvez Hossain Emon, Munim Shaharier, Shahadat Hossain, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Towhid Hridoy and Anisul Islam.

Wicketkeepers: Imranuzzaman Imran and Akbar Ali.

Spinners: Minhajul Abedin Afridi, Rakibul Hasan, Hasan Morad, Tanvir Islam and Mohammad Rishad Hossain.

Pacers: Shafiqul Islam, Mukidul Islam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Mohammad Shahin Alom, Sumon Khan, Noman Chowdhury Sagor, Rejaur Rahman Raja and Ruhel Mia.
