Afghanistan Cricket Board face a change in the top after Taliban took over the control of the country.

It was feared that the radical force might stop sports like cricket but now Taliban is showing some sort of soft corner towards the game, though there was a shift of power at the top of the country’s cricket administration.

Former ACB Chairman Azizullah Fazli has been re-appointed as ACB’s acting Chairman. He replaced Farhan Yusefzai. Afghanistan is scheduled to play three One-Day Internationals against Pakistan in Hambantota, but the newly imposed lockdown in Sri Lanka and no availability of commercial flights from Kabul put that series into uncertainty. – TBP
