Bangladesh Cricket Board is still hopeful about the visit of the Afghanistan Under-19 team despite the postponement of the series between the Afghan senior side and Pakistan.
Game Development Manager at the BCB, AEM Kawser, told The Business Post that the schedule is unchanged until now.
“According to the latest conversations, the schedule is unchanged. They are planning two or three-way outs from Afghanistan to reach Bangladesh. One of them is to get to Pakistan by land border and then to Dubai from there and to Dhaka from Dubai. They are trying to find a suitable way. Let’s see,” he said.
Kawser also told that, if necessary, the series could be slightly rescheduled or adjusted according to the travel plans of Afghan team. – TBP
