No training for Blackcaps

The New Zealand cricket team did not take part in their scheduled training on Sunday as they took a day off after two days practice since coming out from the isolation.

The media manager of the team informed that the coaches have decided to give the team a day off. Ajaj Patel, a left-arm spinner who played nine Test matches and a couple of Twenty20 internationals told the media in a video interview that the players were not used to with the kind of heat and humidity in Bangladesh, but that tempts him as the conditions are favorable for spinners but the Tigers are well prepared to handle them, “their batsmen play spin very well. We are playing on their conditions. They have beaten some big teams here. There is no chance to take them lightly”, said Ajaz.

The Kiwi with a Gujrati-origin also said that their batting coach Thilan Samaraweera also helped a lot about batting against spin bowling. -TBP
