Afghan U-19 team leave for Bangladesh

Afghanistan Under-19 team were supposed to arrive in Bangladesh on August 31 for five one-day matches and one four-day match in September in Sylhet but have not.

But the series is far from abandoned as Afghanistan Cricket Board CEO Hamid Shinwari said on Wednesday that the youth side will tour Bangladesh in September.

The Afghanistan Under-19 team left for Bangladesh on Thursday.

Earlier, 26 U-19 players started training in Kabul on July 28 ahead of their series against Bangladesh U-19. – TBP
