Afghanistan Under-19 cricket team arrived in Dhaka today to play five one-day matches followed by a four-day match against the Bangladesh U-19 team at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
The Afghans were supposed to arrive on August 31, but their arrival was delayed due to political unrest in Afghanistan that disrupted flight operations at Kabul International Airport.
After reaching Sylhet, the team members will be kept in room quarantine for three days, and then they will have two days of practice before the five-match one-day series starts.
The one-day matches will take place on 10, 12,14, 17, and 19 September, and after a two-day break, the four-day match will begin on the same venue from September 22. – TBP
