Pro golf back to life with Trust Bank Open

Professional golf in Bangladesh is coming back to life as a full-length tournament is being conducted since March 2019 which brings back the usual festivity at Kurmitola Golf Club.

Mujib Year Trust Bank Open, starts today which is the first professional golf tournament after the Bangabandhu Cup Bangladesh Open which was part of the Asian tour.

80 professional golfers of Bangladesh are taking part in this tournament, beside them 10 armatures are also testing their skills against the top professionals.

The tournament is starting on Monday and will end up on Thursday.

Ace golfer of Bangladesh Siddikur Rahman is not playing in this tournament as he is in USA for higher training, but the other top professional golfers like Dulal Hossain, Zamal Hossain Mollah are taking part.

The prize money of the tournament is Taka 12 Lakh. – TBP
