Bangladesh women’s team reach Uzbekistan

Bangladesh women’s team reached Uzbekistan capital Tashkent on Wednesday for their AFC Women’s Asia Cup 2022 Qualifiers against Jordan and Iran.

The team arrived from Nepal, where they played a couple of matches, drawing one and losing the other.

The team will be staying at the Amirun Hotel in Tashkent.

After reaching there, all the players and staff were tested for Covid-19, and they will be in room isolation until the reports are back. They completed a recovery session in the hotel on Wednesday.

The players are scheduled to start training on Thursday depending on the results of their Covid-19 tests. Currently, all the members of the team are healthy and safe, Bangladesh Football Federation informed.

“We are preparing to face Jordan. We are confident that we can have a good game against them and are asking for your support,” Bangladesh player Ritu Porna Chakma said.
