BFF gives clarification on dropping Eleta

Bangladesh Football Federation gives their clarification on not picking Eleta Kingsley in the national team squad for the SAFF Championship.

Eleta is a naturalized citizen of Bangladesh, who was born in Nigeria.

The newly appointed national team coach Oscar Bruzon picked him in the preliminary squad for SAFF championship but finally could not pick him in the finalized team due to lack of proper documents.

In a media release, the BFF wrote that according to the documents sent to FIFA on July 17, they cannot permit Eleta to play for Bangladesh .

The BFF is now looking for entry and exit timings of Eleta in Bangladesh for past 10 years from the home ministry and the special branch of police to submit the records to FIFA. – TBP
