New jersey for Bangladesh team in SAFF

Bangladesh national football team will wear a new set of jerseys designed by the fans during the upcoming SAFF championship in Maldives.

The new attires were selected through a jersey design contest where the design by Subrata Das from Narayanganj was selected as home kit while the design by Shawpan Ahmed from Sylhet was selected as the away kit.

The home kit is green and the away kit is red in color.

The national team will wear these jerseys during their matches of SAFF championship, slated to start from October 1.

Bangladesh will play against Sri Lanka, India, Nepal and Maldives in this five-team tournament for regional glory.

Top two teams from the group stage will play the final.

Bangladesh footballers have reached Maldives on Tuesday and all were found covid-19 negative in the following tests.
