Mushfiqur Rahim shined in the two one-day matches he played for Bangladesh A team against High-Performance team, but Shamim Hossain failed to impress before both of them leave for Oman to take part in the T20 World Cup.
Mushfiq played a knock of 62 runs from 53 balls for Bangladesh A while the Test captain Mominul Haque was more aggressive who scored 128 runs from 121 balls to take the team to 322-7.
In the previous match, Mushfiq scored 70 runs from 91 balls.
Shamim, picked for T20 World Cup only after seven matches for the national team for his big-hitting abilities, could not show something impressive as he scored eight runs from 12 balls in the first match and on Thursday, he scored only 11 runs from 21 balls.
Aminul Islam Biplob and Rubel Hossain are two other world cup bound cricketers who are taking part in this series, though they are going as reserve players.
Rubel picked three wickets for 69 runs on Thursday while Biplob picked 1 for 49, in the previous game Rubel bagged a brace and Biplob got one wicket.
