PSG stunned by Rennes

Star studded Paris Saint Germain was stunned by Rennes as the Parisians were beaten by 2-0 in the Ligue 1 on Sunday. This is PSG’s first defeat in nine matches of League 1 which is also Lionel Messi’s first defeat since he moved into France.

PSG fielded their usual attacking trident which includes Killian Mbappe, Neymar and Messi; but failed to produce a single goal with the 90 minutes.

Just before the half-time, Rennes strike twice to take a lead by 2-0 which proved enough to earn three points after the final whistle.

Gaëtan Laborde right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner, earned Rennes their first goal on 45th minute, on the very next minute Flavien Tait’s right footed shot doubled the lead. – TBP
