Bangladesh A team swept the High-Performance side 4-0 in the four-match one-day series after they won the final match of the series by five wickets at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
Batting first, the HP team were bowled out for just 192 as none of their batsmen could score a fifty. Parvez Hossain Emon was the top scorer with 41, whilst Shahadat Hossain Dipu scored 34.
Naeem Hasan and Taijul Islam picked up three wickets each for the A team, with Khaled Ahmed picking up a couple.
In reply, the A team lost four wickets for 81 runs, but an unbeaten 64 from Mosaddek Hossain and 49 from Imrul Kayes ensured that they reached their target with five wickets and 17 overs in hand. – TBP
