Khaled takes on Nazmul

The key battle in the 2021 Bangladesh Cricket Board Election will be between Khaled Mahmud and Nazmul Abedeen for the post of Director in Category 3.

Former captain and chairman of the game development committee, Mahmud is representing former cricketers while Fahim is the current cricket advisor of BKSP

who once worked under Mahmud in the game development wing of the BCB.

Fahim is the mentor of many cricketers including Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mominul Haque and many more while Mahmud is one of the most successful BCB directors from the last tenure as the under-19 team won the World Cup.

Before the election, Khaled said that he was happy that Nazmul decided to fight in the election.

“(Nazmul Abedeen) Fahim bhai is my coach. We have worked together in the Game Development of BCB. I always like challenges. I am happy that he is taking part in the election. I have talked with him,” Khaled said in September.
