BCB has declared a 21-member team for the Under-19 team’s upcoming tour of Sri Lanka where they will play five youth one-day internationals.
Khalid Hasan, Ashraful Islam Sium and Shamsul Islam Ipon have been dropped from the squad that faced Afghanistan though Khalid and Ashraful are the two stand-by cricketers.
Bangladesh youth team will leave the country for Sri Lanka on October 7 and will be in quarantine for the next three days.
Depending on the Covid-test results, the young tigers will be allowed to train at the Ratnagiri Dambulla International Stadium for the next four days before they face the Sri Lanka U-19 team in the first match of the series on October 15.
The next matches will take place on October 18, 20, 23 and 25 at the same venue. Bangladesh youth team is scheduled to leave Sri Lanka on October 26.
