BFF appoints Mario Lemos

Bangladesh Football Federation has appointed Mario Lemos as the coach of the national football team for the upcoming four-nation football tournament in Sri Lanka.

Lemos, a Portuguese football coach, has been working with Dhaka Abahani since 2018. He also had a stint with the national team as the fitness coach prior to his engagement with Abahani.

In a media release, BFF said that the decision of appointing Lemos as the head coach was made in the seventh meeting of the national team’s committee.

Lemos will work as the head coach during the four-team tournament, where Maldives and Seychelles will be playing hosts Sri Lanka.
