The Annual General Meeting of the Bangladesh Football Federation was held at a city hotel on Saturday.
The key agendas of this meeting were to give the approvals for the appointments of two rapporteurs and two scrutineers and the approval of the budget for the year 2022.
BFF president Kazi Salahuddin told the media that there was no objection from the councilors regarding the expenditures but he had to give a lot of explanations for the performance of the national team.
In the coming year, BFF aims to spend taka 41 crores 95 lakhs where their probable income is taka 24 crores which creates a deficit of taka 17 crores.
The Vice-President of BFF, Salam Murshedi is hopeful that they can manage the amount from the sponsors,
“Due to covid situation, we did not get the expected response from the sponsors, but we carried out our activities. Hopefully, we will get the help from every possible area and we can run the game”, he told the reporters.
