Shakib-Nurul under observation

Bangladesh team cricketers Shakib Al Hasan and Nurul Hasan Sohan are under observation as both of them are nursing injuries.

In a media release, Bangladesh Cricket Board said “Nurul will be completely rested for three days. He will be reassessed on November 1. Then the decision regarding taking him in the team against South Africa will be decided”.

Nurul was injured during the practice session ahead of the game against England, but he was picked in the squad despite the injury which made his situation more complex.

Shakib also picked up a hamstring injury during the match against West Indies, he is also under observation said BCB. “Shakib is under observation for 48 hours. Tomorrow (Today) the decision will be taken regarding him”, wrote BCB.

Bangladesh will play their next match of the ICC T20 World Cup on November 2 against South Africa.
