Allrounder Shakib Al Hasan and right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed joined the rest of the team members in training inside the bio-secure environment as both of them were found covid-19 negative on Thursday.
Shakib missed out on the Twenty20 series and the first Test of the two-match series against Pakistan at Chattogram while Taskin played in the T20 series and injured his hand while playing in the 3rd T20i.
Both the cricketers were called back in the squad for the second Test of the series, scheduled to start from December 4 at Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
The selectors earlier announced a 20-member squad for the second Test but on Wednesday, opener Saif Hasan was ruled out from the squad because he was diagnosed with typhoid.
Shakib, who was unavailable in the first Test for fitness issues, trained at the Masco-Shakib Cricket Academy under his mentor Mohammad Salauddin.
On Thursday, Shakib arrived early at the SBNCS and hit the indoors where he batted against four net bowlers.
After some rest in the afternoon, he did some bowling practice as well.
Bangladesh Cricket team had the afternoon slot designated for them and Shakib had to wait for the covid test result before joining them.
The reports came out in the noon, and Shakib was allowed to join the rest of the team members in the practice session.
