Shakib Al Hasan became the quickest to reach the double of 4,000 runs and 200 wickets in Test cricket on Wednesday with his fifty in the second innings of the second Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan. Shakib took only 59 Tests to reach the achievement, breaking English legend Ian Botham’s record of 69 Tests. Four other players have achieved the same double in Tests. Sir Gary Sobers achieved the feat in 80 Tests, Indian great Kapil Dev in 97 Tests, former New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori in 101 Tests, and Jacques Kallis on 102 Tests.
