Bashundhara Kings to face Sheikh Jamal in quarter-final

Defending Champions Bashundhara Kings will take on Lt. Sheikh Jamal DC Ltd in the quarter-final of the 2021 Independence Cup, whereas Dhaka Abahani Ltd will take on Bangladesh Army Football Team.

The first quarter-finals between Abahani and Bangladesh Army will take place today at the Bir Shrestha Shahid Sipahi Mohammad Mostofa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur, Dhaka at 5:15 PM. The second will take place at 8:00 PM in the same stadium between Saif Sporting Club Ltd and Swadhinata Krira Sangha.

The remaining two quarter-finals will be held on Sunday. Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra will take on Bangladesh Police Football Club at 5:15 PM, with Kings taking on Sheikh Jamal at 8 PM.

Both semi-finals will take place on December 14. The first semi-final will see the winners of today’s matches clash for a final berth, with the second semi-final being played between the winners of Sunday.

The final of the tournament will be held on December 18.

The SAFF Under-19 Women's Championship will also take place at the same stadium, from December 11 to December 22.
