Bangladesh will play three One Day Internationals and two Twenty20 Internationals against Afghanistan in February-March, said a media release from Afghanistan Cricket Board.
The three-match ODI series will be the part of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League, which is a qualifying process for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, slated to take place in India.
Bangladesh cricketers will be having a very busy schedule in 2022 as they will start the new year with a Test match against New Zealand.
Right after the Test series against New Zealand, the cricketers will engage in Bangladesh Premier League T20 which will tentatively start from January 20 2022 to February 20.
Nex will be the series against Afghanistan where Bangladesh will play five matches across February and March.
Right after the series against Afghanistan, the Tigers will fly to South Africa to play three ODI matches against the proteas which are also part of the Super League.
Following the ODI series, there will be a two-match Test series against South Africa, starting from March 30.
