Tigresses to start WCWC with South Africa clash

Bangladesh women’s national cricket team will face South Africa in their first match of their first-ever Women’s Cricket World Cup on March 5, 2022, in Dunedin, New Zealand.

The World Cup will be in a round-robin format, where all eight teams will face each other.

Bangladesh, who qualified for the World Cup after the qualifiers in Zimbabwe were postponed, will face hosts New Zealand in their second match on March 7.

After a long break, their third match will be against Pakistan on March 14. On March 18, Tigresses will take on West Indies before their match against India on March 22.

Bangladesh will then face Australia on March 25 before facing England in their final game of the group stage on March 27.

The final of the World Cup will be on April 3 at Christchurch. – TBP
