Premier Chess Championship

Golden Jubilee of Independence 48th National Premier Chess Championship - 2021 Organized by the Bangladesh Chess Federation and sponsored by the Abul Khair Group, will start today at a citiy hotel.

The 14-player competition will follow a round robin league system,

Among them, there are Five Grand Masters of the country who are playing directly and nine other players were promoted from the national 'B' chess.

On the other hand, the 40th National Women's Chess Championship-2021 Organized by the Bangladesh Chess Federation and sponsored by the Abul Khair Group will start on Wednesday, December 29 in the third-floor chess hall- room of the old building of the National Sports Council.

Participation in the National Women's Chess is open to women and girls of all ages and there is no fee to participate. Women and girl’s players interested in participating are asked to submit their names to the Bangladesh Chess Federation by December 28, 2021.

The championship match will be played in a 9 or 10 round Swiss-league format.– TBP
